Therapy
Therapy (or psychotherapy) helps develop life-long coping skills to treat specific mental health conditions like depression or anxiety, trauma, or simply the daily human challenges we all face. Whether it's not getting the promotion you deserve, anxiety about driving, or the death of a loved one. Therapists are educated and trained to help foster the natural coping skills we all have and help increase positive thinking

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) is a form of trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, specifically developed for reducing the power of traumatic memories. EMDR allows you to access and reprocess memories through bilateral stimulation, resulting in a decreased negative reaction to the trauma over time.
Although EMDR was originally discovered to work with clients diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), over the years it has become integrated into treatment for other disorders such as eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, complicated grief, panic disorder, anxiety and depression disorders, dissociative disorders and many others that may have a trauma component associated with them.
Coaching
What's the difference between Coaching and Counseling? In therapy, we seek to discover issues in the past that are blocking you from success. Special techniques and tools are used to understand these issues and bring healing and closure to them so that you may move ahead. While coaches and counselors may use many of the same dialog techniques, coaching begins in the present and is future oriented. Coaching asks powerful questions, expands thought processes, identifies limited beliefs, designs actionable steps and follows up.
